Extended Studies Services
The Extended Studies Marketing and Communication Team develops and executes strategic marketing plans in-house and in collaboration with Avoq (formerly Kivvit), the marketing agency that serves as an extension of the Extended Studies team. Campaigns primarily focus on promoting programs, brand awareness, and enrollment marketing.
Marketing Courses on Open Learning
Avoq developed three online courses that cover the basics of digital marketing. These courses aim to provide program directors and staff with information on how to promote their programs and access resources to run a campaign effectively.

Extended Studies Contract with Avoq
Extended Studies has a university approved contract with Avoq, a full-service marketing agency. Extended Studies does not provide marketing support for individual programs; however, campus units may access the Extended Studies contract via Procurement and Business Services to request marketing directly from this vendor. Extended Studies Websites
Extended Studies hosts and maintains two websites:
- The student-facing Extended Studies website is the primary online resource for information about Extended Studies administered programs and guidance on how to apply and register.
- The Extended Studies administrative website supports academic units with internal program information, administrative guidelines, and resources.
