Universities at Shady Grove (USG)

Extended Studies (EXST) has developed the following Scheduling, Budgeting, Contracting and Payroll Guidelines for Undergraduate Programs administratively supported by EXST offered online, at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG), and the University System of Maryland at Southern Maryland (USMSM) for Fall 2025 (2508).

Note: These instructions are NOT applicable to Freshmen Connection Program, Summer Session, or Winter Session.

Scheduling is conducted electronically in the Student Information System (SIS). Courses roll over from the previous year and academic units should review this information for accuracy. Refer to the Scheduling, Budgeting, Contracting, & Payroll Schedule for the date courses become visible to students.
